Congrat’s to Ben Jones and his wife Courtney on the arrival of their baby boy “Chase Benjamen Jones”. Has a great Philly baseball ring to it. The Bible says that Children are blessings from the Lord and I echo that truth. What a challenge, but what a Joy!!!!

This passage really is getting me through this day, this week, this month. Hope it encourages you! It’s Proverbs 3 from the Message.
Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own.
Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track.
Don’t assume that you know it all. Run to God! Run from evil!
Your body will glow with health, your very bones will vibrate with life!
Honor God with everything you own; give him the first and the best.
Life is full of things that we try to figure out. So many things in life beckon me to ask “why” questions. My goal for today is to Trust God from the bottom of my heart and try to not figure out everything on my own. It is only when we quiet ourselves and completely trust that we can then listen for God’s voice in everything we do.
Lord I quiet myself. I quiet my mind, I quite my thoughts. Speak to me in everything I do.
As I sit in my office this afternoon I am looking through scripture asking God to give me a word that I can share with my teams tonight. One of things that artistic people daily struggle with is pride. We are taught to practice and be the best. I am not ashamed to admit that I feel that my calling involves me aiming to be the best worship leader in the world. I want everything that Fellowship puts out on the stage to be excellent because I know that excellence inspires people and honors God.
Check these verses out in Matthew 18
1 About that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Who is greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven?”
2 Jesus called a little child to him and put the child among them. 3 Then he said, “I tell you the truth, unless you turn from your sins and become like little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven. 4 So anyone who becomes as humble as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven.
Humility! That is the word God has for me today and for my teams. God desires complete humility from us. How does living a life of humility compare with the life you now live? Are you serving others? Jesus did? He is the greatest and yet knelt down and washed the feet of his own disciples.
I pray that we never get too big for our britches! God help us be humble servants!
