I am sitting here in my new office a little light headed from the fumes of fresh paint.  Our family has all left now and we are excited about a few days of being alone before we kick it into gear again for the new year.  What a year it has been.  The biggest thing has been the birth of our second son Hudson.  What a blessing he is.  He is my serenity.  There is a special bond between a boy and his father even when they are babies!  Hudson lights up when he sees me and his eyes always follow me around the room.  I have so blessed!  God has poured blessings upon my life.  I don’t deserve anything I have, but his grace sure does abound!

So during this season of reflection as well as planning ahead, I am thankful for my family and my God.  I have a lot of goals for this next year.  My biggest might just be this: To live life enjoying the present, not feeling guilty about the past or worried about the future.  God is good all the time, and all the time, God is good.

I just wanted to get on this morning and wish you all a very Merry Christmas! “To God be the Glory, Great things he has done”

Wow, I am in awe at how good last nights first Christmas Experience went.  I don’t think it could have been much better.  Can’t wait to see what God has in store for the services tonight.  Be praying for all of us.  We are tired, we are worn down, we are excited, we are nervous, we are anxious, we are expecting God’s Spirit to MOVE!!!

Well, today is a huge day for Fellowship Church.  Tonight we have our first of four Christmas Experiences.  We have done everything that we can to make these services the best possible format for God to Revolutionize people’s lives.

My stomach is a little nervous and I am a little scared, but I am reminding myself that even if the band flopps, I stink, and the singers forgot how to sing, the results of the four services over the next two days are completely up to God.  We will do our best and God will show up and move, but it is on God not me, God not the band, God not the singers, God not the audio and videos.  It is God that will reveal himself to men, women, and children this week.  It is He who will open blinded eyes.  It is he who will set the captives free and he who will Revolutionize lives this Christmas.

God help me to get out of the way!  Help me to sing for You and Your Glory alone!  Have Your will in Heaven be accomplished here on earth, and here at Fellowship Church!  Do great things for Your Kingdom this week and use us to do it.  We love You and do all of this for You ALONE!

It was a good but long day. This morning we set up at Gvms for our four Christmas experiences. We followed it up with a dress rehearsal of the program. A couple hours later the staff along with a dozen volunteers headed over to the Thornberry bakehouse where we sponsored free coffee and cookies. We handed out hundreds of invite cards for our Christmas experiences. We had a few families tell us they would be there on Christmas Eve.
I headed to bed around 9 but cannot shut my mind down. I am anxious and excited about what God is about to do. I hope to see you there!!!

I just want to ask that you pray for our student pastors baby girl Aramai McInnes today.  She is in open heart surgery as I sit here writing this.  She has a significant hole in her heart that is a quarter inch wide.  That is huge for a 5 week old baby.  Please be praying for mom, dad, Aramai, and the rest of their family as they are being forced to trust God in bigger ways than they ever have before!

Well, I can’t believe I am going to say it but I am completely ready for the Christmas Experiences next week.  Usually every year we are stressed to the max and about to go crazy trying to get everything ready.  This year is completely different.  We are more planned out, more prepared, and more excited because there is more at stake this year than ever before.  I truly believe that people are looking for Christ more than ever…they just don’t know they are.

Please be praying for the four experiences next week as well as this Sunday’s services.  God wants to use these experiences to Revolutionize people’s lives.  God wants there to be a Revolution of people’s hearts, lives, & families.

Had a great night hanging with friends. We watched the Eagles win and sat around the fire pit talking and laughing. So thankul for good friends!! I am learning the importance of doing life together!!
